Twinning for Spirit Week

In support of student council’s ongoing Spirit Week, TOPS students dressed up for Twin Day. Spirit Week is a five-day event during which students show school spirit by dressing up to themes and playing games in the cafeteria at lunch. Other themes include Marvel/DC Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Disney Friday.

Calculus Summative

For their math summative, grade 11 calculus students created a list of common calculus errors and how to avoid them. In groups, the students displayed these errors through creative mediums. Projects included a Snakes and Ladders board, a video, a storybook, and an interactive webpage.

Comics About Dilemmas

Grade 11 students investigated the different theories about ethics in philosophy class. What distinguishes wrong from right? Is the greater good always paramount? Students created comic strips targeting an ethical dilemma of their creation, employing theories such as utilitarianism, stoicism, egoism, and hedonism.
