The grade 10 history students began presenting their projects on World War II. Students got into groups and were assigned with the task of teaching the class a specific topic about the war and creating a worksheet to test their classmates’ knowledge.
This week, the grade 10 history class participated in a mock political discussion set in 1935. Students came in role, prepared with a backstory and an issue or concern which they presented to a panel of students each acting as an important figure from the 1930s.
This week, the grade 10 math students began their functions and quadratics unit. They were introduced to domain and range and the different types of functions. Students also learned various notations for expressing intervals and were taught how to calculate absolute value inequalities.
This week, the grade 10 English class began their assignment on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Students were put into groups and each assigned a specific scene to edit and reenact. Performances will begin next week.
