This week the grade 12 chemistry students investigated the implications of Le Chatelier’s principle, which predicts how a system at equilibrium will be affected when subject to stress. They performed an experiment using varsol and iodine. Based on types of solvents added, student will draw conclusions explaining why and how a system is affected by stress.
The grade 12 AP Physics C students demoed their summative projects, a remote soil sampler and analyzer. It consisted of a robotic arm that could operate autonomously to sample soil in its surroundings at a position selected by the user from a live camera feed. Data such as the mass, temperature, reflective spectra, and volume were returned as appropriate.
