Music NightTOPS is filled to the brim with musical talent. The TOPS presence is felt in every single musical ensemble at Marc Garneau: concert band, choir, the strings ensemble and stage band are made up mainly of TOPS students. Considering the fact that TOPS is a math and science based program, it is important to maintain facets that encourage artistic expression. Therefore, leadership and participation in music is strongly encouraged as well as supplemented with evening field trips and exposure to orchestras and operas. To showcase the musical talents of the students, various events are organized every year. Music Night is by far the most potent.
