This week, the Grade 10 students began their training in preparation for the Algonquin Trip in May. They were divided into 3 groups, depending on their responsibilities in at the park: Probes, Imaging, or Fauna and Flora. The Probes group investigated the devices needed for the trip. The Imaging group practiced mapping and testing soil pH and dissolved oxygen levels. The Fauna & Flora group learned about the environment and habitats of Algonquin Park.
