Grade 12 TOPS chemistry students performed a series of titrations this week. This included strong acid/weak base, as well as strong acid/strong base titrations. These experiments were far from basic, and the students had a great time performing these very precise experiments.
The grade 12 TOPS linear algebra and geometry class spent the week exploring the universe of complex numbers. They learned how to represent a complex number in Cartesian, polar, and exponential form, and have gained a real sense of appreciation for numbers that they couldn’t previously imagine.
The grade 12 AP Physics class has finished their summative projects that involved building a seismograph from scratch. Through many months of hard work, they used their skills in circuit-building, soldering, engineering, and teamwork to complete this incredibly challenging project.
