As an introduction to the unit on the nervous system, Grade 12 Biology students tried small activities that tested their minds’ abilities. These included brain teasers, memory games, and optical illusions.
This week, the Grade 12 Data Management students completed a final project for their unit on permutations and combinations. They chose a theme and created an interesting and interactive medium through which they presented the problems and solutions that they wrote.
The Grade 12 AP Physics C and Grade 12 Astronomy students had the opportunity to visit the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies to learn about the research done there. Their tour of the facilities brought them to labs with wind tunnels, quadrotor drones, high-speed lasers, and flight simulators.
