This week, grade 11 chemistry students studied limiting reagents through making and eating a banana ice cream sundae. By identifying the least abundant ingredient, they determined the limiting reagents in the chemical formula for the sundae. Students will apply their knowledge of limiting reagent problems in the following classes.
