Grade 10 TOPS math students have started their trigonometry unit, beginning with the study of elementary geometric proofs such as the side splitting theorem and the mean proportional theorem. They concluded by using geometric means of a right-angled triangle, a strategy to derive the Pythagorean Theorem.
