According to TDSB policy,
“Students interested in attending one of the secondary Math, Science and Technology programs are not required to submit any supplemental application or information. A completed Centralized Program Application is all that is required. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of spaces available, all applicants will be eligible for the random selection process.”
In other words, there will be 52-54 incoming grade 9 students admitted for the 2023-2024 school year, with a limited number of placements for incoming grade 10s. 50% of the placements will be reserved for students from MGCI feeder schools. All selections will be determined by random draw.
Grade 9 TOPS Applications open on November 7 at 9 AM and will close on November 25 at 4 PM. The Grade 8 MGCI Open House (TOPS Info Night) will take place on November 7, from 7 PM to 9 PM on Zoom: https://tdsb-ca.zoom.us/j/96664777337
