This week, the grade 10 math classes were introduced to parabolas: a quadratic relation. Students studied properties of the curve, including the proportion between 2nd differences and the leading coefficient. Furthermore, the classes investigated quadratic regression, which required graphing parabolas using calculators and DESMOS.
