This week the Grade 12 English students read and analyzed famous short stories. Starting in 1834 with Pushkin’s Queen of Spades and ending off in 2015 with Heather O’Neill’s Swan Lake for Beginners, they presented seminars which examined themes, motifs, structure, and style.
