Every year, the TOPS program hosts several special events for students that fall outside of the classroom and annual trips. Many of these are competitions, which allow TOPS students to demonstrate and highlight their abilities. Others are social gatherings, which are special opportunities for TOPS students to meet people from other grades who may later act as mentors or role models. Outside of the TOPS-specific events, Marc Garneau CI itself also offers many social events in the form of dances and banquets, which are great times for TOPS students to connect with those outside of the program.
