This week, grade 9 science students explored the cellular world of plant leaves. Students viewed the structure of a leaf under a microscope, noting specific parts such as the spongy mesophyll and vascular bundles. By using specially prepared slides, students were able to see the structure of a leaf with detail they’ve never experienced before.
