This week in Chemistry, the Grade 12 students performed a titration experiment. They titrated a potassium permanganate solution of unknown concentration against a prepared ferrous ammonium sulfate solution, standardizing the permanganate solution. Students then balanced and analyzed the redox reaction involving the iron and manganese ions.
