We performed titrations of hydrochloric acid with sodium hydroxide every day this week in grade 11 chemistry class. Using a pH indicator and burets, we measured how much of each reactant was required for a neutralization reaction by detecting the instant the indicator in the solution turned pink, showing that the reaction was complete.
